Pioneering Trusted Medical Solutions to Improve the Lives We Touch
At Convatec, we believe in better healthcare, not just for some, but for all.
We want patients with hard-to-heal wounds to have better quality of life and experience positive outcomes, and we want to make life easier for their care providers. We know that with the right education about Wound Hygiene, and the right treatment choices at each stage of the journey, wounds can be healed, and even prevented. That is why we're always developing new technologies that help minimize the risk of complications and reduce the time it takes to heal.
It's why we're always working with clinicians and key opinion leaders to roll out much needed educational programs, and it's why we're always listening to what patients have to say so we can provide services and support that make a real difference in peoples lives.
That is our commitment to you, that we'll keep doing everything we can to empower healthcare professionals and support patients. We will make people care as much as we do and we will make change happen, because we know that by improving the standard of care and supporting better self-care, we will improve the lives of those we touch, for today, for tomorrow and forever.
Advanced Wound Care Solutions
AQUACEL® Family of Dressings
AQUACEL® launched 25 years ago with a breakthrough technology — Hydrofiber®
Over that time, we have seen so much change, so much innovation, and a fair few challenges along the way. But throughout it all, we’ve been by the side of clinicians and patients, providing the highest quality dressings and support. Since then, we’ve never stopped innovating.
Today, the AQUACEL® family includes a wide range of wound dressings — including AQUACEL® Extra, AQUACEL® Foam, AQUACEL® Surgical and AQUACEL® Foam Pro.
In addition, our AQUACEL® Ag+ dressings are the #1 antimicrobial dressings today1, combining the infection-fighting power of ionic silver with the unique capabilities of Hydrofiber® Technology.
Wound Hygiene
We understand that biofilm is a major cause of hard-to-heal wounds. We believe every wound, no matter how challenging, can progress to healing.
Just as we follow basic hygiene every day by washing our hands, brushing our teeth and showering, we should apply basic hygiene to wounds to keep them clean and remove biofilm. By implementing Wound Hygiene™, you can ensure every wound is properly prepared for healing every time.

The right dressing can make a big difference.
Minimize infection and blistering and improve patient satisfaction with AQUACEL® Ag Surgical.
AQUACEL® Ag Surgical dressings combine Convatec’s proprietary Hydrofiber® Technology and hydrocolloid technologies with the antimicrobial action of ionic silver.
Avelle™ Negative Pressure Wound Therapy System
The first system to combine negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) with Hydrofiber® Technology. Avelle™ has proven benefits of NPWT and maintaining a optimal environment for wound healing.7
FoamLite™ ConvaTec
Light and flexible every day.
Designed specifically for the management of low to non-exuding chronic and acute wounds. FoamLite™ ConvaTec dressings are a thin Foam dressing with a breathable film and perforated, gentle skin friendly silicone adhesive.†1 FoamLite™ ConvaTec dressings are flexible and conform†1 to the body even in awkward positions.
ConvaMax™ Superabsorber
EXUDATE MANAGED. SKIN PROTECTED.
ConvaMax™ Superabsorber Adhesive Dressing and ConvaMax™ Superabsorber Non-Adhesive Dressing effectively manage exudate to maintain skin integrity and help support healing.9 They can be used as a primary or secondary dressing.
In wounds with depth, AQUACEL® Hydrofiber range of products such as AQUACEL® Extra™ Hydrofiber® Dressing with Strengthening Fiber and Aquacel® Ag+ Extra™ Enhanced Hydrofiber™ Dressing with Silver and Strengthening Fiber may be used as a primary layer and covered with an appropriately sized ConvaMax™ Superabsorber dressing, combining an advanced wound contact layer with high absorption capacity.
