ConvaTec US Communication: COVID-19

 

Dear Valued Customer,

As a further update to our last communication on March 13, ConvaTec continues to closely monitor the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). We have implemented a number of measures to protect the supply of our products and services for our customers. Our dedicated response team assesses the issues daily, collaborating across our operations with suppliers and logistics providers to maintain supply. The steps we have taken have been successful to date, with our warehouses providing a full service and helping us respond to increased demand for certain products. We will continue to monitor the situation closely as it changes day by day. Currently, we do not anticipate a significant impact on our ability to provide patients with the vital products that they need. 

 

Critical Care Global Impact

As the situation in China regarding the pandemic improves, production has been ramping up and we anticipate a much lower risk of any supply interruptions on Silicone Foley Catheters, Tracheal Tubes and Respiratory Care (O2/Aerosol products). We also do not anticipate any significant disruptions to our remaining Critical Care range including Flexi-Seal™, Suction Catheters and UnoMeter™ products.

We are fully aware of increased demand on certain product groups and how important these products are during treatment of COVID-19. We are doing our utmost to fulfill additional orders in the fastest possible way.  

 

Advanced Wound, Ostomy and Continence Care Global Impact

As we look ahead to the next quarter, we do not currently see any significant issues in the supply of our Advanced Wound, Ostomy and Continence products, whether produced by ConvaTec or in partnership with outsourced partners.
