Extracellular Matrix
InnovaMatrix® devices are the first placental derived medical devices to be cleared by the FDA for wound management.1 InnovaMatrix® devices are placental-derived devices that preserve the inherent structural benefits of the placenta while adding the reliability, reproducibility, and safety profile of a medical device.2, 3, 4
Material Selection
Human amnion placental source tissue can be affected by genetic, environmental, and behavioral variables.5-11
The porcine source for InnovaMatrix devices is controlled for diet, health, and activity level, thereby greatly reducing the variability of the raw material used to manufacture it.12
Our proprietary TriCleanse Process effectively decellularizes the extracellular matrix (ECM) by removing cells and cellular debris, while maintaining composition integrity.2, 3
