Our products for leg ulcers

Our products for leg ulcers

We have a range of products which are designed to manage the clinical challenges of venous and arterial leg ulcers.

Key wound care considerations for the management of  venous leg ulcers include:

  • Debridement to help speed up the healing process1
  • Management of bacterial colonization and infection1
  • Obtaining moisture balance through moist interactive dressing1
  • Use of appropriate dressings to manage high exudate levels1
  • Minimal dressing changes to protect formation of new cells1

Sustained, graduated compression is the "mainstay of venous leg ulcer management".

NOTE: For arterial ulcers the key aim is to increase blood flow to the extremity.Compression is not appropriate for arterial ulcers. Any infection should be addressed to prevent rapid deterioration of the ulcer. Debridement may not be appropriate with arterial ulcers as this may cause further ischemia2
