It’s natural to feel concerned about life with
a stoma but, for many people, surgery can be the beginning of a more comfortable life.
Some people even find that they have the freedom and improved health to enjoy activities they had never thought possible. You can still enjoy activities such as travel, sporting events, eating at restaurants, or whatever you enjoyed before your surgery.
