Grants and Charitable Contributions

Grants and Charitable Contributions

ConvaTec recognizes that the dissemination of educational and scientific information, and supporting healthcare professionals with education on the safe and effective use of its products, are worthwhile undertakings. In addition, ConvaTec understands the value in supporting bona fide charities to continue the community service they provide. It is equally important that support of these programs and activities is not viewed as a price concession, reward or inducement to customers to prescribe or purchase ConvaTec products. The policies for Educational Grants and Charitable Giving are designed to ensure that grants and charitable contributions are awarded and implemented appropriately.

The ConvaTec policies require that when processing and considering Educational Grants or Charitable Giving requests, there not be any involvement by ConvaTec sales or marketing personnel. This web page is designed to facilitate communication between the requestor and the review committee without any involvement by ConvaTec sales or marketing personnel. The request is to be sent directly to a reviewing committee at ConvaTec headquarters where it is carefully considered on its own merits. There are no sales or marketing personnel on the committee. Accordingly, please do not ask your ConvaTec representative to intercede or follow up on a request. Such involvement by a sales or marketing individual may cause the request to be denied.

When the review committee has made its decision, the response is communicated directly to the requestor, again without any sales or marketing involvement. Your territory manager will not know the status of a request. Any questions regarding grant or charitable giving requests should be directed to the ConvaTec Ethics and Compliance Office at 877-259-6303.
